I report on immigration enforcement in the United States and investigate moneyed interests, far-right extremism, and government power in both the U.S. and India.

I was born and raised in Assam, India.

In 2025, I graduated from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism.

From August 2022 to September 2023, I worked as a India Company News Correspondent for Reuters, based in Bengaluru, India.
